NOTIFICATION:        The magnificence of IBPS has stood over 40 years. Working on international testing models like the ETS model, the Institute conducts a wide spectrum of activities in personnel selection both for promotion within and recruitment and selection from outside the organization. Today, IBPS has become a body providing integrated end to end solutions for human resource management of client organizations. The Institute is equipped with its very own fleet of qualified personnel - people from the banking and insurance industry, psychology, information technology and educational measurement who have specialized in the testing process. Its various verticals include Client Relations, Design and Analysis, Research and Development, Processing and Technology Operations and Support Services. It also has its own technology infrastructure for data ware house and processing. It has state-of-the-art printing facility that is capable of printing over 100 thousand data booklets and answer sheets per day. The Institute has the capability of testing simultaneously as many as 1 million candidates in 2000 venues across 200 centers (cities) in one session. In 2010-11 alone, IBPS was successful in screening over 10 million candidates for testing and filled approx. 79,236 vacancies for its client organizations besides testing of candidates for admission to academic institutes and certification for diplomas. This system of Common Examination for Recruitment of Officers & Office Assistants (Multipurpose) has been approved by the Government of India, notified by NABARD and has the mandate of each of the RRBs. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invites online applications for the recruitment of various vacant posts of CWE-2014 for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The next Online CWE for RRBs (RRBs - CWE) for Recruitment of Group “A” -officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in September 2014, from eligible & interested Indian residents; candidates can apply through online mode application up to 09-07-2014.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE (as on 09-07-2014):   As per given details-

OFFICE ASSISTANT (Multipurpose):      A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized University and Proficiency in local language, Knowledge of Computer skills is desirable.

OFFICER Scale-I:       A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized University preference shall be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture/ Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/Information Technology/ Management/ Law/ Economics and Accountancy and Proficiency in local language, Computer  knowledge is desirable.

OFFICER SCALE-II:   General Banking Officer -       A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized University with a mini of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference shall be given to the candidates having degree in Banking/Finance/ Marketing/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture/ Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/ Information Technology/ Management/ Law/Economics and Accountancy/an experience of 2 years as an officer in any Bank or Financial Institution.

OFFICER SCALE-II SPECIALIST OFFICERS:  1- Information Technology Officer -    A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification from any recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology with mini 50% marks in aggregate, certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. is desirable.

2- Certified Associate (CA) -     A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification of CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an experience of 1 year as a Chartered Accountant.

3- Law Officer -      A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification from any recognised University in Law with mini 50% marks in aggregate and must have an experience of 2 years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than 2 years.

4- Treasury Manager -     Certified Associate (CA) from any Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized University/ Institution and must have an experience of 1 year.

5- Marketing Officer -   A passed of MBA in Marketing from a recognized University and must have an experience 1 year.

6- Agricultural Officer -    A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from any recognized University with a mini 50% marks in aggregate and must have an experience 1 year.

OFFICER Scale-III:      A passed of Degree or its equivalent qualification in any discipline from any recognized University with mini 50% marks in aggregate. Preference shall be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking/ Finance/ Marketing/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture/Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/ Information Technology/ Management/ Law/Economics and Accountancy and must have an experience of mini 5 years as an Officer in any Bank or Financial Institutions.

LOCAL LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:      All the applicants applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants in any particular RRB or RRBs are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State / UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview, as per the notification of the concerned RRB (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II and III). For ensuring proficiency in local language, the applicants must have –

a- Local language at 10th class

OR

b- Native language at 10th class level

OR

c- Local language at any level up to Graduation level.

REQUIRED AGE As on 01-06-2014: As per given details-

OFFICER Scale- III:-  Applicant’s age should be in between 21 years and 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03-06-1974 and later than 31-05-1993 (both dates inclusive).

Officer Scale- II:- Applicant’s age should be in between 21 years and 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03-06-1982 and later than 31-05-1993 (both dates inclusive).

Officer Scale- I:-  Applicant’s age should be in between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03-06-1986 and later than 31-05-1996 (both dates inclusive).

Office Assistant (Multipurpose):-  Applicant’s age should be in between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02-06-1986 and later than 01-06-1996 (both dates inclusive).

AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

REQUIRED FEE/ INTIMATION CHARGES:  Non-refundable amount of Rs. 600/- as an application fee for the posts of Officer (Scale I, II & III) & Office Assistant (Multipurpose) by General & OBC category candidates and Rs. 100/- for the posts of Officer (Scale I, II & III) & Office Assistant (Multipurpose) by SC/ST & PWD category candidates have to pay through Online payment from 18-06-2014 to 09-07-2014 and 20-06-2014 to 14-07-2014 Offline payment (both dates inclusive).

Bank Transaction charges for Offline/ Online Payment of fee/ intimation charge will have to be borne by the candidate.

POST RESERVATION:  The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ widows candidates.

SELECTION PROCESS:  The applicants have to qualify CWE for the selection in banks which depends on the score obtained in CWE and personal Interview.

NOTE:  A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online through IBPS Official website up to 09-07-2014. Candidates are advised to read carefully Official Notification before submission of application of IBPS RRB CWE – III.

PROCEDURE TO APPLY ONLINE/ HOW TO APPLY:   a- Applicant must have a valid E mail ID, & Mobile No., scanned photo and scanned signature before applying online. IBPS may send letters for further requirement if any to the registered e-mail ID.

b- Keep the necessary details/documents ready if it is desired to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges (In case of Offline Payment i.e. CBS candidates have to apply online, obtain a fee payment challan form and then remit the necessary application fee/ intimation charges).

c- Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CWE for RRBs” and then click on the appropriate option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- RRBs-OFFICERS (Scale-I, II and III) September/ October 2014” or “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- RRBs- OFFICE ASSISTANTS (Multipurpose) September/October 2014” to open up the On-Line Application Form.
