NOTIFICATION: With a view to encourage brilliant and talented Law Graduates to join the legal profession and to give them exposure to various facets of litigation and branches of law and familiarity with Court procedures, the proposal for appointing Law Clerks-cum-Research Assistants in the High Court of Karnataka till 31.01.2015 (subject to extension), has been approved by the High Court and the Government. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Degree in Law with 50% marks & has enrolled as an Advocate with Karnataka State Bar Council on or after 01-01-2011.
NOTE: Candidates who have appeared for interview on 18, 19 & 20-02-2014 for the post of Law Clerk cum Research Assistants and not selected are not eligible to apply.
PAY SCALE: During the period of assignment the Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant will be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs. 15000/-(Rupees Fifteen Thousand only).
REQUIRED AGE: Candidates should be born on or after 01-01-1983.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
