Post Wise Vacancies –
1- Assistant Commissioner (Crops): 01 Post.
2- Aeronautical Officer: 12 Posts.
3- Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical): 02 Posts.
4- Junior Scientific Officer (Explosive): 02 Posts.
5- Assistant Chemist: 11 Posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
1- Assistant Commissioner (Crops): A passed of Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Extension or Agronomy or Entomology from any recognized University or equivalent with a required experience.
2- Aeronautical Officer: A passed of Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from any recognized University with a required experience.
3- Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical): A passed of Master’s degree in Physics from any recognized University or Institute with a required experience.
4- Junior Scientific Officer (Explosive): A passed of Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from any recognized University or equivalent with a required experience.
5- Assistant Chemist: A passed of Master’s Degree in any branch of Chemistry or Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from any recognized University or equivalent with a required experience.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below –
1- Assistant Commissioner (Crops): Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-Per Month.
2- Aeronautical Officer: Level-10 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC).
3- Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical): Rs.56100-177500/- Per Month.
4- Junior Scientific Officer (Explosive): Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4600/- Per Month. As per 7th CPC Level-7 (Rs.44900-142400/-) in the Pay Matrix.
5- Assistant Chemist: As per 7th CPC Level - 8 (Rs.47600 – 1,51100/-) Per Month.
AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 30/35/40 years for Aeronautical Officer, Assistant Chemist Vacancies through UPSC Recruitment 2018.
1- Assistant Commissioner (Crops): Max Age Limit is 40 years.
2- Aeronautical Officer: (Crops): Max Age Limit is 35 years.
3- Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical): (Crops): Max Age Limit is 35 years.
4- Junior Scientific Officer (Explosive): (Crops): Max Age Limit is 30 years.
5- Assistant Chemist: Max Age Limit is 30 years.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs. 25/- by General and OBC candidates to be paid either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
SC/ST/PH/Women candidates who are exempted from payment of fee for UPSC Online Application Form.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Women/Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability /eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Recruitment Test (RT) and Interview.

16. Now pay the fee through cash at any branch of State Bank of India through the Pay-in-Slip.
17. A transaction ID will be given, again revisit the website and click on the “Click here to view your Previous/ currently active applications”.
18. Log in by registration ID & password, candidates can see “My Active Application (My draft Application)” link.
19. Now fill in the details of transaction ID and Date of Transaction if paid through cash.
20. Click “Continue”, check the details of fee and submit the application.
21. Now take printout of online application for future reference.
