ABOUT: Central University of Karnataka (CUK) was established by an Act of the Parliament (No. 3 of 2009) at Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan Period to address to the concerns of ‘equity and access’ and to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts which have a Graduate Enrolment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%. NET/ SLET/ SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET are not conducted
PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
1. Professor: Rs. 37400-67000/- + Academic Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-.
2. Associate Professor: Rs. 37400-67000/- + Academic Grade Pay Rs. 9000/-.
3. Assistant Professor: Rs. 15600-3900/- + Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6000/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Required age of candidates should be in between of 21-40 years as on 31-10-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
