EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from any recognized Institute /University with required experience in relevant discipline
PAY SCALE: Pay Matrix Level 8 as per 7 CPC for JPSC Recruitment 2018 for Assistant Public Prosecutor 143 posts.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 21 years - 35 years as on 01-08-2017.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs. 600/- by General, BC-I & II and Rs. 150/- by SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand only to be paid /deposited in State Bank of India through Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking or SBI Collect up to 11-04-2018. SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Pre Examination, Main Examination and Personal Interview.
JPSC will conduct examination in 2 phases: Preliminary and Main. The preliminary exam will comprise of two papers: general awareness (100 marks) and subject specific paper (200 marks). The main exam will comprise of questions from 9 regional languages; the minimum marks required to pass the main exam is 40% for general category, 36.5% for OBC category and 32% for SC/ ST category candidates.
