NOTIFICATION:  Department of Local Government, Punjab invites filled in applications for the recruitment of 50 Building Inspector in various Municipal Corporations in Punjab from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested, candidates can send filled in applications up to 15-10-2013.

POST DETAILS:  Building Inspector - 50 posts. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:  A passed of Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent from recognized Board/Institute. 

PAY SCALE: Rs. 10300/-34800/-+Grade Pay Rs.4400/-. 

REQUIRED AGE:  18 years - 40 years as on 15-10-2013. 

AGE RELAXATION:  Relaxation in age as per Punjab Govt. rules. 

REQUIRED FEE: A Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- for Gen. & OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC & ST candidates drawn in favour of  “Chairman, Selection Committee-cum-Director, Local Government, Punjab”.

No fee from Ex-Serviceman.

POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

SELECTION PROCESS:  Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test/Interview.
