NOTIFICATION: Pondicherry University of Pondicherry, invites filled in applications for the recruitment of 93 posts of faculty & non faculty in various subjects/ divisions/ disciplines from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online up to 21-02-2014. 1- Professor: 31 posts in various Departments.
2- Associate Professor: 33 posts in various Departments.
3- Assistant Professor: 24 posts in various Departments.
4- Director (Research): 01 post.
5- Director of Physical Education & Sports: 01 post.
6- Assistant Director of Physical Education & Sports: 01 post.
7- Deputy Librarian: 01 post.
8- Assistant Librarian: 01 post.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 37400/-67000/-+ AGP Rs. 10000/-./ Rs. 37400/-67000/-+ AGP Rs. 9000/-./Rs. 15600/-39100/-+ AGP Rs. 6000/-.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduate Degree/Master’s Degree/Ph.D./ OR as per University/UGS norms, in concerned field and must have required experience in field from a recognized University.
REQUIRED AGE: Max. age is 50 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per Govt. rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 750/- as an application fee for General & OBC category candidates and Rs. 500/- as an application fee for SC/ST & Physically category candidates to be paid to University. Refer official notification for post wise eligibility.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written Examination and Interview test.
