NOTIFICATION: Andhra Pradesh Revenue Department invites online applications for the recruitment of 5962 vacancies of Village Revenue Officers (VRO)/ Village Revenue Assistant (VRA) Posts through District Selection Committee in Andhra Pradesh state from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested, candidates can apply online at official website up to 13-01-2014.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: For this selection candidates must have
passed Intermediate Examination 10+2 conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State
Board of Intermediate Examination or its equivalent for VRO posts and passed
SSC /10th Class Examination or its equivalent conducted by the
Andhra Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education for VRA posts.
REQUIRED AGE: VRO posts: Candidates
age must be in between 18 years - 36 years as on 01-07-2013.
VRA
Posts: Applicant’s age must be in between 18 years - 37 years as on 01-07-2013.
AGE
RELAXATION: Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An
amount of Rs. 300/-for General and other unreserved candidates
are required to pay as an application fee and Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST category
candidates will have to pay as an application fee. Apart from application fee a
service charge of Rs. 20/- shall be paid by candidates to the service
providers.
Application
fee is to be paid through E-Seva/ Mee – Seva/ AP online centers/ through web
portal of CGG and an acknowledgement need to be obtained by paying only
specified amount.
PH
category candidates are exempted from paying of application fee.
POST RESERVATION:
Reservation
is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward
Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM)
candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will
be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test/Interview.
Question Paper will be in Telugu, English & Urdu Medium.
