NOTIFICATION: National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) is country’s apex organization for training and research on rural development. Institute broadly follows UGC pay scales for academic positions invites applications in prescribed format for the post of 12 Assistant Professors from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled in application up to 10-02-2014. POST WISE DETAILS: 12 posts- 8-UR, 3-OBC and 1-SC-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of High Second Class/ Post Graduate Degree (with 55% and above marks) with Ph. D. in the relevant discipline in Social/ Physical Sciences/ Agricultural Sciences / Computer Sciences/ Statistics/ Management OR High Second Class Master’s degree in any of the Technical disciplines with Ph. D. OR High Second Class M.Tech. degree in any of the relevant Engineering discipline and two years of experience in teaching from a recognised University or training and / or research in an Institution or relevant field experience in any Engineering/ Technological area relevant to Rural Development.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600/-39100/- +AGP of Rs.6000/-. UGC VI Pay Commission Scales of Pay for its faculty members.
REQUIRED AGE: No age limit for the above posts. However, present age of superannuation of employees is 60 years at NIRD.
REQUIRED FEE: No fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Interview test.
