NOTIFICATION: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a joint venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit System for Delhi, NCR & other metros invites online applications for the recruitment of 1194 Non-Executive Category vacancies like Station Controller/ Train Operator, Customer Relaxations Assistant, Junior Engineer & Maintainer posts from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online up to 15-04-2014. POST WISE DETAILS: 1194 posts of Non-Executive-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of three years Engineering Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ B.Sc./ ITI in relevant trades from NCVT OR SCVT. ITI Trades are mentioned in the notification/required experience in concerned field from any recognized University/Institute.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age must be in between of 18 years - 25 years for Maintainer post and 18 years - 28 years for remaining posts as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST and OBC.
REQUIRED FEE: Applicants are required to pay Rs.400/- for General & OBC (including Ex-servicemen) candidates and Rs.150/- for SC/ST applicants as an application fee to be paid through Bank challan form which can be generated/downloaded from official website only up to 13-04-2014 from the date of issue of advertisement.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman (Exs).
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Personal Interview and Medical Examination merit-
1- Station Controller/Train Operator (post code-01) and Customer Relations Assistant (post code-02) - The selection methodology will comprise four-stage process - Written Test (two papers), Psycho Test & Personal Interview followed by Medical examination in Aye-one category.
2- Junior Engineers (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil) (post codes 03,04,05 & 06) - The selection methodology will comprise three-stage process - Written Test (two papers), Personal Interview followed by Medical examinations in Aye-one category not below Aye-three.
3- Maintainer (post codes 07) - The selection methodology will comprise two-stage process - Written Test (one paper), followed by Medical examination in Bee-One category. There will be no interview for Maintainers' category of post.
