NOTIFICATION: The Central Recruitment Agency, on behalf of the District and Sessions Judge, U.T. Chandigarh invites online applications for the recruitment of 31 clerks’ posts from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 14-04-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS:  31 posts of clerks – General- 21/ SC- 4 and OBC- 6.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification thereto from a recognized University. He should have passed matriculation with Hindi/Punjabi as one of the subject and must have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spread sheets).

PAY SCALE: Rs.10300/-34800/- + Rs.3200/- Grade Pay.

REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age must be in between 18 years to 33 years as on 01-01-2014. Max age 45 years for employees in service.

AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST and OBC category candidates.

REQUIRED FEE: Rs.500/- as an application fee by General Category candidates and Rs.125/- as an application fee by SC/OBC candidates. Applicant has to take print out of 'Cash Deposit Receipt' after registering 1st step, fill this receipt in appropriate columns as per applicability of fee requirement and deposit at any Branch of State Bank of India in cash only. The 'Cash Deposit Receipt' will contain the amount of fee to be deposited by the applicant, depending upon his/her category. Applicant approaching the State Bank of India Branch will ask for depositing the fee under screen 8888 (fee type-21). No other mode of payment of fee is admissible. After depositing the fee in the Bank, applicant will get a Unique Transaction No./Journal No. from the Bank, which is required to be updated by applicant on website at the time of Registration Step-II.

POST RESERVATION:  The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Chandigarh Union Territory, Subordinate Courts Establishment (Recruitment Service) Rules 1997 as amended from time to time.
 
SELECTION PROCESS:  Applicants will be selected on the basis of performance in  written test and computer proficiency test.
