NOTIFICATION: Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (MESCOM) invites online applications for the recruitment of 346 Assistant Lineman vacancies from Male / female Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online up to 15-04-2014.

POSTS WISE DETAILS: 346 Assistant Lineman posts -
1- Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic: 216 posts (Female).
2- Lineman trade/ Electrician trade (ITC): 130 posts (Male and Female).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of 10th Standard class or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board /Institute with of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade from an Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by Government of Karnataka for post Sl. No. 1st / a pass certificate of 03 years “Lineman trade”/“Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL for post No. 2nd.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age must be in between 18 years to 35 years for General candidates/18 years to 38 years for IIA/ IIB/ IIIB category candidates and 18 years to 40 years for Category I and SC & ST candidates.
AGE RELAXATION: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. rules to the eligible candidates.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 7950/-150-8100/ -1909/,050- 24010/,250-100- 11750/-160-16790/- Per Month.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 400/- by General category candidates to be paid as an application fee. Reserve category candidates must refer official notification. Application fee can be paid by Bank Challan form through Net Banking option/ any Bank ATM cum Debit card/ Internet Banking/ applicant can also pay the Application fee by using Off Line i.e., pay by Challan form at any Branch of State Bank of India.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination/on job test/medical test and interview.
