NOTIFICATION:  City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. (CIDCO) invites filled in applications for the recruitment of 51 various posts in different departments from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled in application up to 31-03-2014.

POSTS WISE DETAILS:  51 posts of Superintending Engineer-

POSTS / AGE & QUALIFICATION:

1- CHIEF ECONOMIST: 1 post.

Required Qualification: A passed of Post Graduation in Economics/Diploma Certificate / professional course in Urban Development / Planning and Exp. as an Urban Economist for 15 years in reputed new town or urban development authority out of 15 years min. 05 years in a senior position / head of department/ Exp. in Industrial promotion will be preferred.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 50 years.

2- CHIEF ENGINEER: 1 post.

Required Qualification: A passed of B.Tech.(Civil)/Post Graduate in required field and must have required experience.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 33 years.

3- ADDITIONAL CHIEF PLANNER: 1 post.

Required Qualification: A passed of degree or equivalent in Architecture or Civil Engineering with Post graduate degree/diploma in Town Planning. The candidate should be the Fellow Member of the Institute of Town Planners, India and Min 15 yrs exp. in Architecture & Planning works/good knowledge of planning matters, housing schemes, development plans and latest techniques in town planning of which at least 05 years in senior position in Govt./Public/ Private sector undertaking as a Senior Planner.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 50 years.

4- SUPERINTENDING ENGINEER (Civil): 1 post.

Required Qualification: A passed of Degree or Post Graduate degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management from a recognized University or its equivalent and an experience for B.E. (Civil) / Construction Engineering/minimum 12 years in Civil Engineering works as EE or equivalent exp. of which at least 05 years experience in execution of Civil Engineering works in senior position/for M.Tech. (CE)/minimum 10 years in Civil Engineering works of which 05 years in Civil Engineering works in a senior position.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 50 years.

5- SENIOR PLANNER: 2 posts.

Required Qualification: A passed B. Arch or BE (Civil) or equivalent in Architecture or Civil Engineering and Post graduate degree/diploma in Town Planning. The candidate should be the Associate / Fellow Member of the Inst. of Town Planner, India and an experience of min.10 yrs. in the field of Planning of which at least five years in the post of Associate planner or equivalent post.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 50 years.

6- SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (General): 1 post.

Required Qualification: A passed Degree from a recognized University, preference will be given to those with post graduation in any field like Personnel, Marketing & Administration OR a degree in Law and an experience of 12 years in a responsible capacity in a Govt. semi Govt. Office or a reputed public / private sector organization.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 50 years.

7- ASSOCIATE PLANNER: 4 posts.

Required Qualification: A passed of Degree or its equivalent in Architecture or Civil Engg. / Post Graduate degree / diploma in Town Planning and 05 yrs. experience of which 03 years will in responsible position of preparing Development Plans etc. with good knowledge of planning, law and latest technique in Town Planning.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 35 years.

8- TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER: 2 posts.

Required Qualification: A passed of Degree in Civil Engg. / Post Graduate in Traffic & Transportation Planning / Transportation Engineering or Highway engineering and 03 yrs. exp. in the Transportation Planning or related field.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 35 years.

9- LAW OFFICER: 2 posts.

Required Qualification: A passed of Graduate of any recognized University in any discipline and must have 03 years degree course in Law of any recognized University OR 05 years degree course in Law of any recognised University after 12th  Std. and 10 years standing practice in any court of law including High Court. He should be well versed in law applicable to the Corporation particularly (a) Constitution of India (b) MRTP Act 1966 (d) Land Acquisition Act (e ) Law of contracts particularly building contracts (e) Law of leases (f) Labour laws.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 40 years.

10- PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER: 1 post.

Required Qualification: A passed of Degree of a recognised University with degree in Journalism / mass communication / mass media / management (advertisement)/ Preference to MA (Mass Communication) & Journalism or MBA (Advertising & Marketing) and 03 yrs. exp. in PR or media.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 33 years.

11- DEPUTY PLANNER: 24 posts.

Required Qualification: A passed of Degree or its equivalent in Architecture or Civil Engg. /Post Graduate degree /diploma in Town Planning & preference will be given to candidates having exp. in this field.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 33 years.

12- ASSISTANT TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER: 10 posts.

Required Qualification: A passed of Degree in Civil Engg. /Post Graduation in Traffic & Transportation Planning/ Transportation Engineering or Highway Engineering & preference will be given to candidates having exp. in this field.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 33 years.

13- ASSISTANT PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER: 1 post.

Required Qualification: A passed of Degree from a recognised university with degree in Journalism / mass communication & min. 01 yr exp. in PR or media.

Required Age: Candidate’s age applying for this post should not be more than 33 years.

AGE RELAXATION: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ VJNT/ SBC & 3 years for OBC (only Maharashtra Domicile Candidate) wherever the post is reserved for that category of backward class. The condition of upper age limit is not applicable to the departmental employees working in CIDCO.

1. Chief Economist: Rs 37400/ - 67000/- with grade pay of Rs 8900/-.

2. Chief Engineer: Rs 37400/ - 67000/- with grade pay of Rs 8900/-.

3. Additional Chief Planner: Rs 37400/ - 67000/- with grade pay of Rs 8700/-.

4. Superintending Engineer (Civil): Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 7600/-.

5. Senior Planner: Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 7600/-.

6. Senior Development Officer (General): Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 7600/.

7. Associate Planner: Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 6600/-.

8. Transportation Engineer: Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 6600/-.

9. Law Officer: Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 6600/-.

10. Public Relations Officer: Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 6600/-.

11. Deputy Planner: Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 5400/-.

12. Assistant Transportation Engineer: Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 5400/-.

13. Assistant Public Relations Officer:  Rs 15600/ - 39100/- with grade pay of Rs 5400/-.

REQUIRED FEE:  An amount of Rs. 500/- as application fee by General category candidates and Rs. 250/- as an application fee by SC/ ST/ VJNT/ SBC & OBC category candidates to be paid.
 
POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC),      Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview. The short listed candidates will have to bring their original documents and certificates at the time of interview.
