NOTIFICATION:  Sikkim Police invites filled in applications in a prescribed format for the recruitment of 572 vacancies of male & female Constable GD, Driver and Technical posts from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled in application up to 20-03-2014. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:  Constable GD: A passed of 10^th  class/matriculation OR its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/Institute for open candidates and 8^th class passed from a recognized Board/Institute for HG candidates who were enrolled before 04-09-2012 and 10^th class/matriculation OR its equivalent qualification passed for who were enrolled after 04-09-2012.

Constable Driver: Minimum 6^th class passed from a recognized Board/Institute.

Constables Technical:  A passed of 12^th class OR its equivalent qualification with PCM from a recognized Board/Institute.

AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules.

REQUIRED FEE: Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs.70/- as an application fee through   Bank receipt (SBS) under revenue head 0055-Police-800 and must obtain an application form from the office of the Commandant/ 3^rd  IR Bn, PHQ, Gangtok OR from the office of District SSP (North/ South/ West) on or up to 20-03-2014 on all working days. Refer official notification for eligibility.

POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

SELECTION PROCESS:  Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in obtaining highest marks in:

1- Physical Measurement Test.

2- Physical Efficiency/ Endurance Test (PET).

3- Written Test.

4- Skill Test for Drivers and Followers.

5- Viva-Voice.

HOW TO APPLY:  For these posts eligible & interested candidates must obtain the application form in person from the office of the Commandant, 3^rd  IR Bn, PHQ, Gangtok OR from the office of District SSP (North/ South/West) and send it after completely filled in along with required certificates up to 20-03-2014 to the concerned address given in application brochure OR to the same office from application was purchased.
