NOTIFICATION: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police (DP) & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) posts from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 11-04-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police (DP) & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) posts-
1- Sub Inspector in Delhi Police.
2- Sub Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF).
3- Sub- Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
4- Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
5- Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
6- Sub- Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF).
7- Sub Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduation or its equivalent qualification thereto from a recognized University. Applicant Male for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
PAY SCALE: Sub Inspector- Pay Band 2- Rs. 9300/-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-.
Assistant Sub Inspector- Pay Band 1- Rs.5200/-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2800/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age must be in between 20 years to 25 years as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 100/- payable through CRF Stamp in case of Off-line or SBI Challan or on-line payment through State Bank of India for on-line applications.
Fee is exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (EXs) eligible for reservation as per Govt. Orders.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: The applicant will have to pass PET/written test/medical test and finally merit list.
