NOTIFICATION: State Bank of India (SBI), Central Recruitment & Promotion Department (CRPD), Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites online applications for the recruitment of 1837 vacancies of Probationary Officers (PO) posts from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through online application up to 25-04-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 1837 posts of Probationary Officers (PO)- UR-758, OBC-405, SC-235, ST-439, (PH-60).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduation or its equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized University recognized by the Central Government.
REQUIRED AGE: For this post candidate’s age must be in between 21 years to 30 years as on 01-04-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.500/-(including Intimation charges) by General & OBC category candidates and Rs.100/- by SC/ST & PWD category candidates to be paid OFFLINE at any CBS Branch of State Bank of India through a payment voucher challan form available at official website of prescribed fees and after payment get a receipt from the branch, candidates can pay fee ONLINE also by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking. OFFLINE PAYMENT OF FEE: From 10-04-2014 to 28-04-2014.
PAY SCALE: Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A & C.C.A as per rules in force from time to time.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test (Objective Test), Descriptive Test and followed by Group Discussion & Interview.
