1. Inspector of Factories (Medical): 04 Posts.
2. Geography Mistress: 01 Post.
3. Assistant Director of Agriculture: 177 Posts.
4. Assistant Botanist: 24 Posts.
5. Assistant Agricultural Chemist/analytical Chemist/ Junior Soil Scientist: 08 Posts.
6. Assistant Entomologist: 01 Post.
7. Assistant Agronomist: 02 Posts.
8. Assistant Plant Pathologist/ Assistant Mycologist: 06 Posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Applicant must possess the qualification of Medical qualification included in First or Second schedule for Inspector and Second class Master’s Degree OR Honours Degree in Geography of an Indian University OR equivalent qualification for Mistress and Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with 4 years degree course for Assistant Director posts and Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture for the other Assistant posts.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600/-–Rs.42000/-P.B. –4A + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age should not exceed 32/35 years as per post as on 01-01-2014. Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: Applicants must enclose with the application a fee of Rs. 210 only by Indian Postal Order which must be purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and on or before the closing date of submission of application and crossed and endorsed to “The Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal”, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted.
Candidates belonging to S.C./S.T. of West Bengal and Persons with Disabilities specified under Persons with Disabilities Rules, 1999 are not required to pay any fee.
