NOTIFICATION: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of Medical Officers posts through UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2014 from Male/Female Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online up to 21-04-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: Medical Officers posts-
1- Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways – 650 posts.
2- Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services - 150 posts.
3- General Duty Medical Officer Gr-ll in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal
4- Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation - 53 posts.
5- General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council - 22 posts.
6- Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service- Vacancies yet to be finalized.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of M.B.B.S. Examination with practical from a recognized University / Institute.
REQUIRED AGE: For these posts eligible candidate’s age should not exceed 32 years as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PAY SCALE: Refer official notification.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.200/- to be paid by General and OBC category candidates by net banking/cash through challan form to be printed after 2nd part completion of registration.
No fee from SC/ST/Woman and PH category candidates.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
