REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Refer official notification as given below-
1- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Core Engineering excluding Animation and Multimedia Technology)-
A passed of a ME/M. Tech Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st class marks and it is preferable if the candidate posses a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned discipline from a recognised University.
2- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Basic Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences)-
A passed of an MA/MSc Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st class marks or must have qualified in NET conducted by UGC/CSIR. It is preferable if the candidate holds a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned discipline from a reputed University.
3- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Animation and Multimedia Technology)-
A passed of a Master's Degree (in Animation or Multimedia or Fine Arts/Visual Art) from a recognized University or with 1st class marks. The candidate should have specialized in one or more of the following fields- 2D and Flash Animation/3DModeling/Texturing/Rigging/Animation/Lighting/ Compositing/VFX/Audio and Video Editing.
4- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (Core Engineering)-
A passed of a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned discipline from a reputed University, preceded by a BE/B. Tech and ME/M. Tech Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st class marks.
5- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (Basic Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences)-
A passed of a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned discipline from a reputed University, preceded by a UG/PG Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st class marks or its equivalent qualification.
6- PROFESSOR (Core Engineering)-
A passed of a Ph. D Degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned discipline from a reputed University and a BE/B Tech and ME/M Tech Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st class marks.
7- PROFESSOR (Basic Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences)-
A passed of a Ph. D Degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned discipline from a reputed University, preceded by a UG/PG Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st class marks.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be below 40 years as on closing date. Refer official notification for eligibility.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PB3) - 55 Posts.
Pay Scale- Rs. 15600-39100/- + G.P. Rs. 6000/-.
REQUIRED FEE: A demand draft of Rs.600/- for General/OBC category candidates and Rs.300/- for SC/ST category candidates drawn in favor of "CIT Kokrajhar" and payable at Kokrajhar to be attached with filled in application form.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
