REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Refer official notification as given below-
1- PROFESSOR: A passed of a Post Grade and Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in appropriate discipline and must have minimum of 10 years of teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor OR minimum of 13 years of experience in teaching / research / industry and research experience, good academic record & book / research paper will be given preference.
2- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Applicant must have at least 5 years of experience in teaching / research / industry of which at least 2 years of post Ph. D is desirable.
3- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: A passed of a B.E / B.Tech. & M.E / M.Tech in relevant subject with 1st class or equivalent qualification either in B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable to the candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen and Dependents of Freedom Fighter Category as per Government Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- for General category candidates and Rs.250/- for BC, other reserved and PH category candidates in favour of "Director, College of Engineering, Pune" and payable at Pune to be dispatched along with filled in application form.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for direct recruitment for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Challenged and Ex-Servicemen shall be in accordance with the Rules, Orders and Notifications issued from time to time by the Government of India.
SELECTION PROCESS: The applicant will be selected on the basis of the performance in the written test and personal Interview.
PROFESSOR & ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: There will be no written test for these posts however candidates will be shortlisted as per criteria of the institute. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview scheduled on tentatively 3rd week of June 2014.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: Written test of 100 Marks will be conducted for short listing of candidates if the applicants’ numbers are too many for Interview.
