QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (Civil): A passed of 1st class Bachelor's degree or its equivalent qualification grade in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute and 5 years experience in relevant field as Engineer/ Asst. Engineer (in PB-3 and GP of Rs. 5400/-) from CPWD/ State PWD or similar organized services/ semi-Govt. /PSU/ Statutory or Autonomous organization/ Universities /reputed Institute or organizations under Central/ state Govt.
JUNIOR ENGINEER (Civil): A passed of 1st lass Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record/(OR) BE/B. Tech. in relevant field from a recognized University or Institute.
ACCOUNTANT: A passed of 1st class Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with Honours in Accountancy/ Finance or its equivalent qualification in grade from a recognized University or Institute/(OR) Master's Degree in Commerce/MBA (Finance) from a recognized University or Institute with excellent academic record. Knowledge of Computer applications viz. Word processing, Spread Sheet and computer based accounting software is desirable.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (Electrical Engineering): A passed of 1st class Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record/ (OR) B.E./B. Tech. in relevant field from a recognized University or Institute.
STENOGRAPHER: A passed of 12th standard or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University and must have a minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m. in Stenography. Proficiency in Computer Word processing and spread sheet with advance skills is desirable.
JUNIOR ASSISTANT: A passed of 12th standard or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University and must have a minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m. in Stenography. Proficiency in Computer Word processing and spread sheet with advance skills is desirable.
TECHNICIAN (Computer Science & Engineering): A passed of Senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and ITI course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade /(OR) Matric or its equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks and ITI certificate of two years duration in appropriate trade (OR) Diploma in Engineering of 3 years duration in appropriate branch from a recognized Polytechnic/ Institute.
LABORATORY ASSISTANT (Physics): A passed of B.Sc. Degree or its equivalent qualification in relevant field from a recognized University/Institute.
MULTITASKING STAFF: A passed of Matriculation or ITI or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or Institute.
REQUIRED AGE: Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: Teaching Staff- A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- by General & OBC category candidates and Rs. 250/- by SC/ST & PWD category candidates drawn in favour of “The Director, NIT Mizoram” and payable at SBI BAWNGKAWN BRANCH, AIZAWL, MIZORAM.
Non- Teaching Staff- A Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- by General & OBC category candidates and Rs. 150/- by SC/ST & PWD category candidates drawn in favour of “The Director, NIT Mizoram” and payable at SBI BAWNGKAWN BRANCH, AIZAWL, MIZORAM.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: The applicant will be selected on the basis of the performance in written Test and Interview. The short-listed applicants will be communicated the schedule for Interview by E-mail or mobile SMS. This information will also be available on the Institute official website.
