NOTIFICATION: South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has unique distinction of providing civic services from highly posh residential and commercial areas to rural and urban villages, JJ Resettlement Colonies, regularized and unauthorized colonies. There are 388 Approved Colonies, 86 rural villages, 81 urbanized villages, 111 unauthorized colonies, 252 unauthorized regularized colonies and 32 JJ Resettlement Colonies. South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) invites online applications for the recruitment of 1532 vacant posts of Teachers and Counselors on contract basis from eligible & interested Indian residents; candidates can apply through online mode application up to 27-06-2014.

Pay Scale: Rs. 27000/- per month.
Required Age: General -30 years, SC - 35 years, ST - 35 years, OBC - 33 years, PH General - 40 years, PH (SC/ST) - 45 years, PH (OBC) - 43 years.
2- TEACHER (Nursery): 12o posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 27000/- per month.
Required Age: General - 35 years, SC -35 years, ST -35 years, OBC -33 years, PH General - 40 years, PH (SC/ST) - 45 years, PH (OBC) : 43 years.
3- SPECIAL EDUCATOR (Primary): 588 post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 27000/- per month.
Required Age: General : 30 years, SC - 35 years, ST - 35 years, OBC - 33 years, PH General - 40 years, PH (SC/ST) - 45 years, PH (OBC) - 43 years.
4- COUNSELORS: 24 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 27000/- per month.
Required Age: General : 30 years, SC - 35 years, ST - 35 years, OBC - 33 years, PH General - 40 years, PH (SC/ST) - 45 years, PH (OBC) - 43 years.
Required Qualification: Refer official notification for qualification eligibility.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A Non-refundable amount of Rs. 100/- as an application fee have to be paid by candidates through Online Debit Card/ Credit Card.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ widows candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: The shortlisted eligible candidates only will be selected on the basis of their performance in Scrutiny of Applications and Personal interview in Hindi or English.
