NOTIFICATION: Indian Air Force (IAF) invites offline applications for the recruitment of various vacant posts of Short & Permanent Commission Officers (Male & Woman) on regular basis in Meteorological Branch for the Courses commencing July-2015 from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian residents, candidates who are eligible & interested can apply through offline mode at official website up to 09-08-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: Officers in Indian Air Force for Meteorological Branch-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: The candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in Science stream, Maths, Statistics, Geography, Computer Application, Environment Science, Applied Physics, Agriculture, Geo Physics and many other subjects with 50% marks.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600-39100/-+ Grade Pay Rs.5400/-+ Rs.6000/- MSP and other applicable allowances.
REQUIRED AGE: The applicant’s age should be in between of 20 years – 25 years as on 01-07-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
PHYSICAL STANDARD: Height – Male- 157.5 Cms. with correlated weight.
Women- 152 Cms. with correlated weight.
REQUIRED FEE: Candidates need to pay nil fee.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in personal Interview & medical test.
TRAINING: Training will start in the first week of July 2015.
