POST WISE DETAILS: 15 posts of Scientists “E & C” posts-
1- SCIENTIST “E”: 6 posts.
Pay Scale: PB-4 - Rs.37400-67000/-+Grade Pay Rs.8700/- per month.
Required Age: Candidate’s max age should not exceed 45 years as on 30-07-2014.
Required Qualifications: The Officers holding analogous post on regular basis; Doctorate Degree in Natural/ Agricultural Sciences; Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/ Medicine; at-least 10 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic institutions/ Science and Technology organizations/ Scientific activities and services, of which 5 years should be in administering, planning, development and coordination of Science and Technology Programmers with 4 years’ service in the Grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7600/- or equivalent.
2. SCIENTIST “C”: 9 posts.
Pay Scale: PB-3 - Rs.15600-39100/-+Grade Pay Rs.6600/- per month.
Required Age: Candidate’s max age should not exceed 35 years as on 30-07-2014.
Required Qualifications: A passed of a Master’s Degree in Natural/ Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine; 4 years’ experience in Research & Development in Industrial & Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations; Doctorate degree in Natural/ Agricultural Sciences OR Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicines.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC & Ex Servicemen category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in interview.
Candidates will have to produce all original certificates at the time of interview.
A panel of candidates will be prepared from the candidates selected after interview. The panel will remain valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of declaration of results.
TRAVEL ALLOWANCE: Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid Second AC railway fare for the shortest route.
