NOTIFICATION: Punjab Gramin Bank Head Office, Jalandhar Road, Kapurthala invites online application for the recruitment of 265 vacant posts of Officers in Middle Management scale I, II and III & Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; have been declared qualified at the Online CWE- II for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2013 and declared qualified, candidates can apply through online application up to 15-09-2014.

Officer Scale -III: 01 Post- UR-01.

Officer Scale - II (GBO): 05 Posts- UR-02, OBC-02, SC-01.

Officer Scale - II (AGO): 02 Post- OBC-01, SC-01.

Officer Scale - II (IT Officer): 02 Posts- UR-02.

Officer Scale - I: 60 Posts- UR-31, OBC-14, SC-08, ST-07.

Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 195 Posts-UR-98, OBC-41, SC-56.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:    As per details given below-

1-Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer):   A passed of Graduation in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy any subject is preferable.

2-Officer Scale-II (Agriculture Officer):    A passed of Graduation in Computer Science/Information Technology from recognized University/Institution.

3-Office Scale-I (IT Officer):    A passed of Graduation Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/Pisciculture with 50% marks aggregation

4-Officer Scale-III:   A passed of Graduation/Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture,Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy with 50% marks aggregation.

5-Officer Assistant (Multi Purpose):  A passed of Graduation in any discipline with Computer Operating skills and must know Local Language.

PAY SCALE:  As per details given below-

Officer MMG Scale –III:  Rs. 25700-800/5, 29700-900/2, 31500.

Officer MMG Scale –II:  Rs. 19400-700/1, 20100-800/10, 28100.

Officer JM Scale –I:  Rs. 14500-600/7, 18700-700/2, 20100-800/7, 25700.

Office Assistant (MP):  Rs.7200-400/3, 8400-500/3, 9900-600/4, 12300-700/7, 17200-1300/1, 18500-800/1, 19300.

REQUIRED AGE:  Refer official Notification.

AGE RELAXATION:   Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government rules.

REQUIRED FEE:   The General & OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- as Application Fee and Rs. 22/- by SC/ST/ PWD & Ex.SM candidates to be paid. The fee is to be paid through chalan form in any branch of PUNJAB GRAMIN BANK or Punjab National Bank in the name of P G B Recruitment Account Nos. POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), PWD and Ex Serviceman candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:    The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in RRBs CWE II Conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2013 & Interview.

The Interview will be held at the Kapurthala centre and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters.
