NOTIFICATION: AIIMS, Rishikesh is one of the SIX AIIMS like apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Rishikesh) invites online Recruitment Applications for the direct recruitment of 571 vacant posts of Senior Residents and Junior Residents for January, 2015 session in different specialties from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 19-12-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 571 posts of Senior Residents and Junior Residents-
1. Senior Residents: 297 Posts.
2. Junior Residents: 274 Posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of graduate medical degree (M.B.B.S) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI. A postgraduate medical degree Viz. MD/MS/ DNB or Equivalent in the respective discipline from recognized University/Institute. OR MBBS (including completion of Internship) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay 6600/- /Rs. 5400/-+ NPA.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 21 years - 33 years as on 01-11-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: General and OBC candidate applying for Senior Residents OR Junior Residents should pay Rs-500/-. Candidate coming under reserved category should pay Rs. 100/- as an Application fee. The Fee should be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “AIIMS RISHIKESH” and payable at Rishikesh.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
