In pursuance of the No Objection Certificate issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, vide their U.O. No. 12013/31-90ME(P) dated 15-01-91 Government Medical College was started in 1991. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution or equivalent or B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution. Candidate must be registered as Nurse and midwife with State Nursing Council.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 10300-34800/-+ GP Rs.4600/- per month.
REQUIRED AGE: In between of 18 years to 25 years as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 500/- by UR & OBC Candidates and Rs. 250/- by SC/ST Candidates to be paid as an application fee in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Director Principal, GMCH” and payable at Chandigarh.
HOW TO PAY APPLICATION FEE: If any for all other categories through Challan form at any SBI branch in the “Power Jyoti” account of GMCH. Ex-Servicemen, PH & the candidates whose name are sponsored by the Regional Employment Exchange (REE), UT, Chandigarh are exempted from Application Fee.
