POST WISE DETAILS: 75 posts of Chair Professor, Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor -
1- CHAIR PROFESSOR: 01 post.
Pay Scale: 37400-67000/- (PB-IV)+ AGP Rs. 10000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of an eminent scholar with a doctoral degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
2- PROFESSOR: 24 posts.
Pay Scale: 37400-67000/- (PB-IV) +AGP Rs. 10000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of an eminent scholar with a doctoral degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
3- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: 31 posts.
Pay Scale: 37400-67000/- (PB-IV) +AGP Rs. 9000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of Masters degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E.
4- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: 19 posts.
Pay Scale: 15600-39100/- (PB-III) +AGP Rs. 6000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of M. Phil and Ph.D. in the relevant field prescribed in appropriate cases, a desirable or essential qualification. The minimum qualifications shall not be relaxed even if a candidate has research degrees like M. Phil or Ph. D.
REQUIRED AGE: As per UGC/University rules.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 500/-by General & OBC category candidate to be paid.
