NOTIFICATION: Office of the Chief Postmaster General, A.P Circle, Hyderabad invites offline application for the recruitment of 105 vacant posts of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi Tasking Staff against sport quota from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply offline at official website up to 19-01-2015.

POST WISE DETAILS: 105 posts of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi Tasking Staff-
1- Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant: 57 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of 10+2 or class 12th with English as a compulsory subject from any recognized Board. Candidates should have studied local language of the State of A.P postal circle or Hindi as a subject at least at Matriculation/equivalent level.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- plus other allowances as per norms.
2-Postman: 38 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation from any recognized Board.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.
3-Multi Tasking Staff: 10 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation or ITI or equivalent from any recognized Board.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/- plus other allowances as per norms.
SPORTS ELIGIBILITY: Meritorious sportsperson who have represented the Country or State/UT in an International/ National level games/competition or candidates who have represented their University/ State Schools in an Inter-University competition or National sports/games for Schools are eligible to apply. Candidates who have been awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive are also eligible to apply.
REQUIRED AGE: The required age of an applicant should be in between of 18- 27years as on 19-01-2015.
AGE RELAXATION:
Relaxation
in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.100/- to be paid by candidates of AP State. Candidates residing outside AP Postal circle have to pay Application Fee of Rs.400/-. Candidates within AP State may deposit the prescribed fee in any Post Office against a fee receipt whereas candidates from outside A.P may pay the fee in form of IPO drawn in favour of “Chief Postmaster General, A.P. Circle, Hyderabad-500001”.

POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

the basis of their performance in sports trial & Education. Selection of the candidates
