NOTIFICATION: On formation of Gujarat state on 1st may, 1960, a department named Education and labour department came into existence. Social welfare, labour, prohibition, excise and employment were included in Education department. Latter subjects were gradually taken away from education and Labour Department on administrative grounds. Since August, 1976 Education department came into existence as separate secretariat department, which looks after education including primary education, continuous education, literacy education, secondary education, higher education, technical education, pharmacy education. Gujarat Secondary Education Recruitment Board (GSERB) invites online application for the recruitment of 2467 vacant posts of Teacher (Class- III) Zilla Shikshan Samiti and Teacher (Class- III) Nagar Shikshan Samiti from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 26-12-2014.

PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/-.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduate or equivalent from any recognized University & B. El. Ed & Qualified HTAT.
REQUIRED
AGE: Candidate’s required age
should be in between of 18-36 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

POST RESERVATION:
Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled
Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD),
