NOTIFICATION: The State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09th November, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was constituted under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Governor of Uttarakhand vide Notification No. 247/1-Karmik-2001 dated 14th March, 2001. At present the strength of the Commission is the Chairman & the six Members. UKPSC invites online application for the recruitment of 128 vacant posts of Assistant Engineer in various Disciplines from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 05-01-2015.

WISE DETAILS: 128 posts of Assistant Engineer-
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 88
posts.
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical): 01 post.
3. Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical):
30 posts.
4. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 06
posts.
5. Assistant Engineer (Agriculture, Mechanical, Civil): 03 posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduated Degree in concerned discipline or equivalent from any recognized University as considered to eligible for the vacancies.
PAY
SCALE: Rs. 15600-39100/-+grad pay Rs. 5400/-.
REQUIRED AGE: The required age of a Candidate should be in
between of 21 years and 42 years as on 01-07-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED
FEE: An amount of Rs. 250/- by
Unreserved Candidates, Rs. 150/-by OBC and Depends of Freedom Fighter and Rs.
100/- by SC/ST / Physically Handicapped and EX- Serviceman Candidates have to
pay as an application fee.
POST RESERVATION:
Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled
Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD),
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on
the basis of their performance in
written Test and Personnel interview.
