NOTIFICATION: The
University of Hyderabad, a premier institution of post graduate teaching and
research in the country, was established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 39 of
1974) on 2nd October, 1974 as a Central University, Wholly financed by the
University Grants Commission. The "objects of the University" as
envisaged in the Act are:" to disseminate and advance knowledge by
providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as
it may deem fit and by the example of its corporate life, and in particular to
make special provisions for integrated courses in humanities and science in the
educational programmes of the University and to take appropriate measures for
promoting inter-disciplinary studies and research in the University." The

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
A passed of Post-graduate
degree, M. Sc./M Tech, Ph. D/MD from any recognized University or Institute and
must have required experience in concerned disciplines. As per UGC regulations
on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff
in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in
higher education 2010 approved by Executive Council of this University are an

PAY SCALE: As per
details given below-
1.
Professor: Rs. 37400-67000/-+
AGP Rs. 10000/-.
2.
Associate Professor: Rs.
37400-67000/-+ AGP Rs. 9000/-.
3. Assistant
Professor: Rs. 15600-39100/-+ AGP Rs. 6000/-.
REQUIRED AGE: As per UGC norms.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: Candidates have to pay Rs.
1,000/- + Bank Charges of Rs. 25/- by General and OBC categories candidates and
Rs.300/- + Bank Charges Rs. 25/- by candidates SC/ ST & PWD category (whether
the post is reserved for these categories or not), or U.S. $ 20 (U.S.Dollars) +
$ 1 Bank Charges, for candidates applying from abroad and wish to pay the
amount in foreign currency. Fee can be pay in the form of a Bank Draft into

POST RESERVATION:
Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled

Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in interview.
