NOTIFICATION: West Bengal Cooperative Service Commission started functioning on 01/12/1994. Initially its office was located at the Writers’ Buildings, Kolkata and then the office was shifted to Bidhan Bipani (Entally Market) at 156, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road), Calcutta – 700 014. The Common Service Branch of the Public Works Department, Government of West Bengal, under its No.4489-CS dated 15/09/1995, allotted a space measuring 2500 Sft. in the 4th floor of Bhabani Bhavan, Alipore, Calcutta -700027, for housing this Commission and accordingly the office of the Commission was shifted to the allotted premises on 26/04/1996.The office premises has once again been shifted to the ground floor of PWD Buildings (Block-‘A’), K at 11A, Mirza Ghalib Street, Kolkata – 700 087 with effect from 26/08/2013 in terms of G.O. No. 238-CS/1‘O’-1/2008 dated 06/05/2013 of the Common Service Branch of the Public Works Department, Government of West Bengal. West Bengal Cooperative Service Commission (WEBCSC) invites online/offline application for the recruitment of 11 vacant posts of Clerk cum Cashier, Officer, Assistant Manager, Field Executive Officer etc from Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online/offline at official website up to 31-12-2014.

REQUIRED AGE: The age of a candidate should be in between of 21 years – 35 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for

POST RESERVATION:
Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled
Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD),
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on
the basis of their performance in
objective Type Written Tests on an additional Special Paper (Paper-II) on
General Banking Awareness will be conducted by the Commission & paper-I
Common test and
interview.
