NO.OF POSTS: 16 posts of Act Apprentices- Fitter – 10, Electrician – 03, Welder – 01, Machinist – 01, Plumber – 01 in Kolkata.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of ITI in designated Trades from ITI (NCVT) and must have passed Matriculation/Madhyamik or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with minimum marks obtained 50% of the aggregate.
PAY SCALE: As per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED AGE: 15 to 22 years as on 01-01-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.20/- only in the form of a crossed I.P.O. drawn in favour of “FA&CAO, Metro Railway, Kolkata” and payable at GPO/Kokata should be attached with application form as application fee which is not refundable under any circumstances.
SC/ST & PH are needed not to pay any application fee.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test and interview.
