VACANCIES: 49 vacant posts of Stores Officers, Assistant Public
Prosecutors, Assistant Survey Officers and Engineer & Ship Surveyor
cum-Deputy Director General through UPSC.
1. Stores Officers in Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of
Defence: 20 posts.
Educational Qualification: A passed of Degree of a recognized
University/3 years experience in Government or semi-Government Office or in a
private concern of repute in indenting purchases, maintenance of technical
Stores or accounts.
2. Assistant Public Prosecutors in Central Bureau of Investigation, Department of
Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances &
Pensions: 22 posts.
Educational Qualification: A passed of Degree in Law of any recognized
University.
3. Assistant Survey Officers in Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines:
04 posts.
Educational Qualification: A passed of Bachelor of Engineering or
Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or B. Tech Degree in
Civil or Mining Engineering from a recognised University/2 years experience in
surveying including total Station, GPS, Theodolite Surveying, traversing,
levelling, contouring, Computer Software under registered engineering or
surveying establishment, mine and dam.
4. Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum-Deputy Director
General (Tech.) in Directorate
General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping: 03 posts.
Educational Qualification: A passed of marine engineer officer class-I
(Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant
Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the
said Act and Five year's service at sea of which one year service as Chief
Engineer or Second Engineer/1 year experience in survey and inspection of
merchant ship and one year experience in survey, inspection and examination of
merchant ship is desirable.
UPSC PAY SCALE: AS per details
given below-
1. Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum-Deputy Director
General (Tech.):
Rs.15,600-39,100/-+GP Rs. 7,600/-T.E. Rs. 48,024/-Approx + TA and HRA as
admissible, General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
2. Stores Officers, Assistant Public Prosecutors,
Assistant Survey Officers:
Rs.93,00-34,800/-+GP Rs. 4,600/-T.E. Rs.38,773/-Approx + TA and HRA as
admissible, General Central Service, Group 'B', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
AGE LIMIT: Required age should not
exceed 50 years for Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum-Deputy Director post and
30 years for all other posts as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age
is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
APPLICATION FEE: An amount of
Rs.25/- have to be paid by General & OBC category candidates by remitting
the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of
the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
No fee from SC/ST/PH & Women candidates of
any community.
RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable
for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC),
Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

be selected on the basis of their performance in written Test and interview.
