REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
1- Skipper Mate: A passed of Class 10th certificate or equivalent and holder of 2nd hand of fishing vessel certificate by MMD, with 5 years sea experience/ Certificate of safety and survival at sea / fire fighting / first aid desirable.
2- Artisan: A passed of diploma in Electrical / Mech. engineering / National Certificate of vocational training / Apprenticeship in reputed craft building yard in hull construction in Fibre Class Re-enforce Plastic with at-least 4 years experience/2 years practice experience on Electrical and Electronic equipment repairs / Diesel Engine repair / Fibre Class Re-enforce Plastic and Wooden craft repairs/Sea experience / experience of repairs on small craft desirable.
3- Sukhani: A passed of 8th standard, with 7 years’ service experience including 2 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails/ Certificate for inland Master 2nd Class / Certificate of Service / Class10 pass or equivalent is desirable.
4- Tindel & Others: A passed of 8th standard with 10 years’ service on sea going vessel with 5 years experience in independent handling of mechanised craft fitted with auxiliary sails/Certificate for inland Master 2nd Class / Certificate of Service / Class10 pass or equivalent is desirable.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800/-+Grade pay Rs.4200/- to Rs.5200-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/1900/2000/2400/28/-.
REQUIRED AGE: In between of 18-25/30 years.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
