1- Professor: 29 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000/-+AGP Rs. 10000/-.
Required Qualification: An eminent scholar with a doctoral degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
2- Associate Professor: 65 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000/-+AGP Rs. 9000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed with good academic record with doctoral degree in concerned or allied/relevant discipline.
3- Assistant Professor: 31 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/-+AGP Rs. 6000/-.
Required Qualification: A passed with good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E and F at the Master’s Degree level, in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from accredited foreign University.
REQUIRED AGE: As per UGC/University rules.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 520/- Rs. 500/- plus Rs. 20/- postal charges) by candidates belonging to General & OBC category in the form of a demand draft to be deposited for purchasing the application form by post or in person from the office of the Finance Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University and payable at New Delhi.
