NOTIFICATION: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Delhi has notified a recruitment to fill up 20 vacant posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professors in various subjects for its various Schools/ Centres and Special Centres in various areas of specialization from the candidates who are qualified in Post Graduate degree/Ph. D in concerned subjects/NET qualified from any recognized University with required experience and having required age. The candidates will be selected on the basis of personal interview. The selected candidates will be paid a salary as per Govt. rules/UGC Regulations. Advt. No. RC/55/2015/ JNU Recruitment 2015 Faculty Vacancies.Candidates may apply Offline up to 29-09-2015.
ABOUT: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was established in 1969 by an act of parliament.[4] It was named after Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister. G. Parthsarthi was the first vice-chancellor. The objective of the founders was to make the university a premier institution of higher learning and to promote research and teaching leading to the increasing engagement of its students and teachers in higher level academic work and national and international policy making.

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-6700/-+ AGP Rs. 10000/-.
2 - Associate Professor: 05 posts in various subjects.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-6700/-+ AGP Rs. 9000/-.
3 - Assistant Professor: 05 posts in various subjects.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/-+ AGP Rs. 6000/-.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Post Graduate degree/Ph. D in concerned subjects/NET qualified from any recognized University with required experience.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be as per UGC/University rules.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non refundable Application Fee of Rs. 500/- by General and OBC category to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft payable on any nationalized bank drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi.
There is no application fee from SC/ST/PH candidates.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in personal interview.
