ABOUT: The Military Engineer Services (MES) is one of the pillars of Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army which provides rear line engineering support to the Armed Forces. It is one of largest construction and maintenance agencies inIndia with a total annual budget to the tune of Rs 9000 crores. It has a large number of units and sub units spread across the entire country to provide engineering support to various formations of Army, Air Force, Navy and DRDO. MES is a military organisation but has both Army and Civilian component of officers and other subordinate staff. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
1. Assistant Draughtsman: A passed of Diploma in Draftsman (Civil Engg) from any recognized institute of not less than 2 years duration including practical training of 6 months. Note: ITI certificate is not acceptable.
2. Supervisor Barrack & Store: A passed of Degree of a recognized University in any stream preferably with diploma in Material Management or 3 years diploma in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical engineering from any recognized Institute.
3. Civil Motor Driver (OG): A passed of Matriculation or equivalent exam from any recognized University/ Board, and should possess valid civil driving license for all type of vehicle from State Government.
4. Chowkidar: A passed of Matriculation or equivalent exam from any recognized University/Board. Should be conversant with duties of Chowkidar and should be physically fit.
5. Safaiwala: A passed of Matriculation or equivalent exam of any recognized University/ Board.
6. Chowkidar (Khansama): A passed of Matriculation or equivalent exam from any recognized
University/ Board, and Diploma in cooking/catering from any recognized Institution.
7. Meter Reader: A passed of 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognized University/Board.
8. Caneman: A passed of Matriculation or equivalent exam of recognized University/ Board OR industrial training institute (ITI) pass certificate from any recognized Institute.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 18 years – 27 years as on 28-09-2015.
