NOTIFICATION: Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) Combined Police Service Examination 2015 (CPSE) Govt of Odisha has notified a recruitment to fill up 370 vacant posts of Sub-Inspector (SI), Sergeant Police & Station Officer (Fire Service) from the candidates who have qualified in any Degree from a recognized University/ Institute and having eligible age limit. The Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement & Physical Test, Main Examination, Viva-voce and Psychological Test. ABOUT: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was set up by Govt. of Odisha as a statutory body in the year 1994 for carrying out direct recruitment against Group-C posts in the State cadre (as against District cadre) as may be scheduled in the OSSC Rules, 1993. There are some 85 different cadres of posts/ services under various departments of Government to which recruitment is made through this Commission.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University and Fire Service a candidates must be a Science or Engineering Graduate qualified holder can eligible to apply for these vacancies.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300 – 34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-Month.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 21 years – 25 years as on 01-01-2015.

PHYSICAL STANDARD:
Height – 168 cms.
Chest - 79 cms in normal and extended up to 84 cms.
