The area of operation of Bihar Agriculture University comprises of Agro-Climatic zones II and III (A) of Bihar to cater the specific needs of these potential grain bowl of the state consisting of Khagaria, Madhepura, Katihar, Purnea, Araria, Kishanganj, Saharsa, Supaul, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Jamui, Lakhisarai and Sheikhpura districts covering an area of about 40.2 lakh hactares.
