NOTIFICATION: Hooghly District Court inviting offline applications for filling up 52 vacant posts of Stenographer, Translator, Lower Division Clerk and Group-D from eligible and interested willing candidates. 1. English Stenographer (Group-B): 09 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and, at least, a certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation. Minimum speed @80 W.P.M. in shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30 W.P.M. in typewriting
2. Bengali Translator: 03 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of Graduate or equivalent College Examination from any recognized University and well versed in Bengali and English Language having, at least, a certificate in Computer Training
3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 19 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and at least a certificate in Computer Training from recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation.
4. Group-D: 21 posts.
Required Qualification: A passed of Class-VIII Certificate from any recognized school or Madrasa or any other recognized equivalent institution.

PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
1. English Stenographer (Group-B): Rs. 7100 – 37600/- + Grade Pay Rs. 3900/-.
2. Bengali Translator: Rs. 7100 – 37600/- + Grade Pay Rs. 3600/-.
3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Rs. 5400 – 25200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2600/-.
4. Group-D: Rs. 4900 – 16200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1700/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years - 40 years as on 01-01-2016.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. Rs. 300/-(Group-B' and Group-C' Category), Rs. 250/- Group-'D' Category by General and OBC candidates and Rs. 250/-(Group-B' and Group-C' Category), Rs. 200/- Group-'D' Category by SC/ ST candidates to be paid at SBI by cash or challan given in the advertisement, Bank charges will also be paid by applicants.
