NOTIFICATION: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) inviting online applications for filling up 270 vacant posts of Assistant Commandants Male & Female in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) from eligible and interested willing candidates. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Bachelor’s Degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or an equivalent qualification.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600-39100/-+ Grade Pay Rs.5400/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 20 years - 25 years as on 01-08-2016 i.e., he/ she must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-1996.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the CAPF regulations given in notice.
Sex: Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.
Possession of NCC B or C Certificate will be a desirable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of Interview/ Personality Test only.
