SSC CGL 2016 – Tier 1 Result: SSC has announced Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 Result 2016 at ssc.nic.in. SSC CGL Result 2016 can be checked by all candidates who appeared for the exam. Result of CGL Tier 1 exam has been announced on 8th November 2016. In addition to date for SSC CGL result 2016 Tier 1, the Commission has also notified dates for Tier 2 exam. Only those who qualify Tier 1 exam can download admit card of SSC CGL 2016 Tier 2 exam. After that they can appear for Tier 2 on 30th November 2016 to 2nd December 2016. The Commission will further announce SSC CGL Result 2016 of Tier 2 exam to call candidates for Tier 3, dates for which will be declared once the computer based tests conclude. Ultimately based on Tier 3 result of SSC CGL 2016, qualified candidates will appear for DEST / Skill test wherever the posts applied for require for. Final SSC CGL 2016 Result can be checked as and when published by the SSC.
As per SSC notification the result write up indicates that 149319 candidates have qualified for Tier-2, 28234 candidates can appear in Paper-III (Statistics) of Tier-2 and 45293 candidates can appear for Paper-IV (General Studies Finance & Economics) of Tier-2.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2016 indicates marks list of candidates shortlisted for next stages of selection. After that the SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2016 result contains list of qualified candidates for descriptive paper. Once the descriptive test is over and its marks are calculated, the SSC CGL Tier 3 Result 2016 indicates the roll numbers of candidates qualified for Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) / Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) (wherever applicable). In the end the final SSC CGL result 2016 will indicate list of candidates recommended for appointment.
