NO OF VACANCIES: 34 vacant posts of Dental Surgeons in Indian Army.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of BDS/MDS (with minimum 55% marks in final year BDS) passed out from any College/University recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI). He/she should have completed one-year Compulsory Rotatory Internship as mandated by DCI by 31 Mar 2018 & must be in possession of Permanent Dental Registration Certificate of State Dental Council/DCI valid at least up to 31 Dec 2018.
Note: Only those candidates (BDS/MDS) who have appeared in the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test, NEET (MDS)-2018 conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi, under the aegis of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, on 07th Jan 2018, at various examination centers of NBE, are eligible to apply. Candidates must submit the copy of Mark-sheet/Score card of NEET (MDS)-2018 along with the application.
PHYSICAL FITNESS: Physical standards/ Medical fitness will be determined as per standards applicable for commission in the Armed Forces.
MARITAL STATUS: Single/Married/Divorcee or otherwise legally separated /Widow for Military Dental Service in Indian Army Recruitment 2018.
PAY SCALE: The Civilian Dental surgeons on commissioning in AD Corps will be granted rank of Captain in the pay scale, Level 10 B (₹ 61300 – 1,93900/-) of Defence Pay Matrix as elaborated in Army Pay Rules-2017 (7th Pay Commission).
PERMANENT COMMISSION: SSC Officers of the MNS will be considered for grant of permanent commission as per existing rules as amended from time to time. They will be subjected to interview by a Selection Board duly constituted for the same. However, the grant of Permanent Commission will be subject to availability of vacancies in the Cadre.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 21 years to 45 years as on 31-12-2018 for Indian Army Recruitment 2018 Civilian Dental Surgeons Vacancies.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.

SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Screening of Application for calling for Interview, Interview and Medical Examination (Interview, Medical Examination and Document Verification) –

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED: List of self-attested certificates/documents to be submitted by the candidates along with the application form is as under -
1. Matriculation (Class X)/ SSLC/ ICSE certificate/ Birth certificate issued by municipality as valid certificate of proof of age.
2. Copy of the NEET (MDS)-2018 Admit Card.
3. NEET (MDS)-2018 Score card.
4. Final year BDS Mark Sheets (Part I & Part II). Candidates should have secured a min of 55% marks in final BDS.
5. BDS & MDS Provisional Pass Certificate/Degree Certificate.
6. Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate.
7. Permanent/Provisional State Dental Council registration certificate.
8. Nationality Certificate/ valid passport/ voter I-Card issued by Election Commission of India as a Proof of Nationality.
9. Aadhaar Card of the candidate issued by UIDAI, Govt. of India (if available).
10. In case of any change in name of candidate after Matriculation (10th Class) necessary notification or any other authority clearly highlighting your change of name.
11. Authority under which BDS/MDS Dental College/batch (of passed out candidate) is recognized by DCI. A certificate endorsing/certifying the same may be acquired from the college authorities.
12. No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if any.
13. Two Passport size photographs to be attached along-with the application form. 05 additional, passport size photographs will be required for candidates, who are shortlisted to undergo medical examination.
14. Enclose one self-addressed post card for ‘Acknowledgement’ & one self-addressed envelope of size 23 cms x10 cms along-with Rs 50/- postal stamps, for return correspondence, if any, through speed post. (Applications without envelope & postal stamps of the specified amount will be rejected).
Document Verification: The candidates shortlisted for the interview will produce all the original certificates for verification as applicable at the time of Interview. Candidates without Documents in original at the time of Interview will not be eligible even if he / she have got the necessary merit.
