Post Wise Vacancies -
1. Sub Inspector (SI) Telecom: 17 posts.
2. Head Constable Telecom: 155 posts.
3. Constable Telecom: 218 posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of 10th + ITI, 12th with PCM, Diploma/B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent from any recognized Board/University.
AGE LIMIT: As per details given below -
1. Sub Inspector (SI) Telecom: 20 to 25 years.
2. Head Constable Telecom: 18 to 25 years.
3. Constable Telecom: 18 to 23 years.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates for ITBP Recruitment 2018 for 390 SI, Head Constable and Constable Posts.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
1. Sub Inspector (SI) Telecom: Rs.35400/- 112400/-.
2. Head Constable Telecom: Rs.25500/- 81100/-.
3. Constable Telecom: 21700/- 69100/-.
Allowances: The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Kit Maintenance Allowance as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free leave pass and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/ instructions.
Physical Standards: As per details given below -
1. Height (Male) in Cms: 170 cms for all other States and Union Territories other than hill areas or mentioned specified below.
165 cms for candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumanonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the State of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of Jammu & Kashmir.
2. Chest in Cms (Male): 80 cms unexpanded and 85 cms expanded.
3. Height (Female) in Cms: 157 cms for all other States and Union Territories other than hill areas or mentioned specified below.
