2. SC:   82 posts.

3. ST:   22 posts. 

4. OBC:  141 posts.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:     A passed of a Graduate degree of a recognized University (Preference will be given to the graduates in Commerce/Law/Management). Applicants must have working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database.

AGE LIMIT:      Candidate’s age should be in between of 21 years to 27 years as on 05-10-2018.

PAY SCALE:     The Corporation will provide salary as per 7th central pay commission with Entry Pay Rs. 44900/- pm replaced against Pay Band Rs. 9300- 34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- of 6th Central Pay Commission. DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other allowances will also be provided as per rules in force from time to time.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:     Shortlisted & eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Phase I - Preliminary Examination, Phase II - Main Examination and Phase III - Computer Skill Test & Descriptive Test.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:     The ESIC SSO Examination 2018 will be conducted in multiple phases -

Phase 1-

1. English - 30 questions (30 marks, 20 minutes).

2. Reasoning ability -35 questions (35 marks, 20 minutes).

3. Quantitative Aptitude - 35 questions (35 marks, 20 minutes).

Phase 2 -

• Reasoning/Intelligence 40 questions (60 marks, 35 minutes).

• General/Economy/Financial/Insurance Awareness - 40 questions (40 marks, 20 minutes).

• English Language - 30 questions (40 number, 30 minutes).

• Quantitative Aptitude - 40 questions (60 marks, 35 minutes).

Phase 3 -

• Computer Skill Test (CST) - 50 Marks (30 Minutes Duration).

• Descriptive Paper - English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

Admit Cards:       Information regarding the candidates called for interview shall be available on the website of the ESIC www.esic.nic.in. Call letters for appearing before the Interview Board shall be given through email at the email id provided by the candidate in the application.
