Post Wise Vacancies –
1. Geologist: 30 posts.
2. Geophysicist: 01 post.
3. Mining Officers: 04 posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Applicants must be able to read, write and speak Odia language fluiently. As per details given below -
1. Geologist: A passed 2nd class M.Sc in Geology or Applied Geology from any recognized University or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad, Degree, diploma or certificate of IIT or from any other Institute where such degree, diploma or certificate is considered equivalent to Post-graduate degree in Geology.
2. Geophysicist: A passed 2nd class Post Graduate Degree in Exploration or Applied Geophysics from any recognized University or Degree in Geology and Geophysics from IIT or equivalent degree, diploma, certificate from any recognized Institution.
3. Mining Officers: A passed 2nd class degree in Mining Engineering from any recognized University or Diploma in Mining or in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad or any other Institute where such diploma or certificate is considered equivalent to degree of Mining Engineering.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 21 years - 32 years as on 01-08-2018 for OPSC Recruitment 2018 Apply for 35 Geologist and Minging Officer Jobs.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
PAY SCALE: Rs.56,100/- pm.
