To be getting selected in this organization screened candidates will have to pass in Written Test and Oral Test in the form of an interview conducted by authorized officials. NO OF POSTS: 53 vacant posts of Draughtsman Grade-III in the Town and Country Planning Department through Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), Chennai.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of Diploma in Town and Country Planning/Civil Engineering/Architectural Assistant ship (OR) any other Qualification Equivalent to the qualifications mentioned in above awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training with Experience in Civil Engineering Field for a period of not less than 3 years. from any recognised University/Institute.
KNOWLEDGE IN TAMIL: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years - 30 years as on 01-07-2018 for TNPSC Jobs 2018 latest 53 Draughtsman Grade-III Vacancy.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
PAY SCALE: (Level – 11) Rs.35400-112400/-.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs. 150/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid for register their basic particulars through One -Time Registration which is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates have to pay application fee through Online through Bank (State Bank of India or Indian Bank) up to 30-11-2018. An examination fee of Rs. 150/- to be paid by General & OBC candidates by online through Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card or it can be paid by offline at State Bank of India / Indian Bank within 2 days from the date of submission of online application by choosing the option in the online application.
SC/ST/Differently Abled Persons are exempted from the payment of Examination fee.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ Women /Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability /eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Written Examination and Oral Test in the shape of an interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the Applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicant’s appearance in the Written Examination and Oral Test is compulsory.
