EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of Degree/Diploma or Graduation Degree in Civil/ Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from any recognized Institute/University with 02 years experience in concerned discipline for some posts.
NOTE: Only male candidates are eligible for the posts of Junior Engineers in Director General Border Roads Organization.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 to 27 years, 18 to 30 years & 18 to 32 years as on 01-08-2019 -
• Department of Posts Junior Engineer (Civil)/Military Engineer Services (MES) Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying and Contracts): Up to 27 years.
• Central Water Commission Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)/(CPWD) Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Up to 32 years.
• Rest all posts: Up to 30 years.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
PAY SCALE: Level 6 - Rs. 35400/- 112400/- Pay Matrix - Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (Pre-revised) for SSC RECRUITMENT 2018 FOR JE VACANCIES OF JUNIOR ENGINEER.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs.100/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid. Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, SBI Challan/ Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card.
ST/SC/Women/Physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying of fee.

SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability / eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in written exam and document verification. Computer Based Examination (Paper – I) & Conventional paper II and preference for the posts.

1. Paper-I (Objective type) - Computer Based Mode (200 Marks, Duration - 02 Hours).
2. Paper-II (Conventional Type) - Written Examination (300 Marks, Duration - 02 Hours).
